Macarthur Memorial Park – Chapel Ramp & Hearse Driveway
Modi was engaged by Catholic Cemeteries and Crematoria (CCC) to deliver the Chapel Basement Ramp and Hearse Driveway works as part of the Macarthur Memorial Park development — a major long-term initiative set to serve the greater Sydney community with over 136,000 burial plots in the coming decades.
Macarthur Memorial Park – Gate Entry Structures (Access B & C)
Modi was engaged to construct two architectural gate entry structures at Access Points B and C as part of the Macarthur Memorial Park development. These structures form a prominent part of the park's identity, setting the tone for a modern, respectful, and well-planned public space.
Macarthur Memorial Park – Footpaths and Beams
Modi was engaged to construct structural footpaths throughout Macarthur Memorial Park, supporting both pedestrian and light vehicle access across the site. The works are being delivered in accordance with accessibility and engineering standards, forming part of the broader development of this landmark public facility.
Kemps Creek Roadworks
Modi was engaged by CCC to deliver approximately 2,000m² of critical roadworks at their Kemps Creek site. The works were carefully coordinated to ensure zero disruption to ongoing cemetery operations, always maintaining respect for the site and visitors.
Rookwood Serpentine Canal Restoration
The Serpentine Canal, part of Rookwood's historic heritage dating back to the 1880s, is surrounded by tranquil gardens and heritage-listed monuments. Modi was engaged to restore a section of the canal identified as a Work Health and Safety (WHS) concern. Despite challenging weather conditions, the project was successfully delivered over a two-week period with great sensitivity to the site's historical significance and operational needs — with no disruption to any funeral services or ongoing cemetery operations.
Liverpool Cemetery Roadworks
Modi was engaged to undertake critical road rehabilitation works at Liverpool Cemetery, addressing deteriorated pavement conditions across multiple key sections of the site. The project involved the complete reconstruction of subgrades, pavements, kerbs, and drainage infrastructure to ensure long-term functionality and improved access throughout the cemetery. What made this project particularly sensitive was its timing. All works had to be carefully completed within a strict one-month window — leading up to Father’s Day, one of the most emotionally significant days of the year for visitors. Our team worked with unwavering commitment to ensure zero disruption to cemetery operations during this period. Each phase was scheduled and delivered with precision, respect, and full awareness of the importance of the site and its visitors. All works were successfully completed ahead of time.
Saint Ives Landscaping & Public Domain Works
Modi was engaged by Ultra Building Co to deliver a series of public domain improvements and landscaping works in Saint Ives, focused on enhancing access, compliance, and overall streetscape presentation in line with Ku-ring-gai Council standards. In parallel, Modi also completed external footings and concrete walkways within a recently completed residential development located in the same project zone.
